That Mk5 Turdbucket
In the showroom today, we have this stanced out 2.5L, 2 door Mk5 Volkswagen Rabbit. This builds an older generation of Orukana’s Max, and we love it!
The owner picked this build up about 9 months ago. Since then, he has swapped out the stock 5 speed tranny for a 6 speed from a 2008 GLI. To optimize, he has also installed a full DKM clutch kit.
Performance wise, hes installed a cold air intake, a catless downpipe and a 2013 intake manifold. I think you can imagine how crisp this car sounds.
The build has also been equipped with a doman8 stage 2 tune with full two step and crackles with the flick of switch.
Currently the build is making roughly 180whp and 170tq, which is not bad at all for an n/a motor that baselines at 150hp.
To hold down the power and improve driveability, the owner has also opted for a trans motor mount paired with a dogbone insert. Suspension wise the builds sitting on a set of FK Street Line suspension.
Cosmetics wise, the body needs some love. However, the owner has installed a super clean, paint matched Votex rear bumper, paired with a beautiful set of custom skyline tails and fully custom headlights.
