For today in the Showroom we have the privilege of showcasing this super clean 2015 Evo Final Edition.
The owner found this car in 2020 when covid restrictions were extremely high. Being unable to fly from Ontario to Alberta where the car was located, they were unable to inspect the car before buying it. They decided to purchase it anyways, with the understanding that the car was in near perfect condition.
Unfortunately, upon receiving it, they discovered that it was far from perfect. The entire engine had to be rebuilt because it was RBO with a tune. The previous owner had also swapped all the stock parts back on and bolted half of it back together before shipping them.
After finally building this Evo back up to drivability, a deer ended up colliding with the passenger fender, causing significant body damage, now needing a ton of body shop work as well.
7 months later the car was back in the owner’s hands, and they finally got to modify it to their liking. They decided an Air Lift 3H system was needed for the car, paired with ESR wheels, and a 12.9” head unit, among many other things.
Over the next year, they added other modifications like a Corsa exhaust, a comp clutch, a Mishimoto oil cooler, an AFR/boost gauge with a boost controller, and a few other miscellaneous mods. Currently, they are having a lightweight driveshaft built, after which they plan to perform some maintenance before going FBO again.
I love Evo’s so much, and I love writing about them even more! If you liked this build as much as I do, make sure to click one of the images above to see some more pics. Also, make sure to click the like button below, to show some love!
