Dalen’s BRZ tS
In the face of adversity, car enthusiasts often find solace and purpose in their passion projects. This is certainly the case for Dalen and his 2018 Subaru BRZ tS, #81 of #250 in Canada.
Originally, Dalen planned to build a 2017 Toyota 86. However, an accident that left the 86 unrepairable changed everything. Swearing off the platform, fate intervened when a gleaming 2018 Subaru BRZ tS, named Silica, caught Dalen's eye in a Nissan showroom. The urgency to purchase was clear; either buy it that day or lose it to another buyer. The decision was swift, and within a month, Silica was home and ready for modifications.
Dalen's BRZ tS features several exterior modifications that enhance its sporty appearance. The front end is adorned with a Racing Bees front lip, complemented by STI side skirts and STI rear spats. The car also boasts an STI carbon fiber spoiler and an OLM rear carbon diffuser. Additional exterior features include a Valenti 4th brake light, H.I.C Industries rear roof spoiler, and H.I.C Industries rain guards. Under the hood, the BRZ tS is equipped with several performance upgrades. It features a Perrin full cold air intake and catless UEL Gumotorsport headers. The exhaust system includes a Gumotorsport overpipe, an FT86 catless resonated front pipe, and an XForce Varex catback exhaust. The suspension has been upgraded with Tein Flex A coilovers and Whiteline adjustable front endlinks. Additional performance enhancements include an STI short shifter and an STI front sway brace.
The BRZ tS rides on Aodhan Aho3 wheels, sized 18x9.5 ET +35, wrapped in Firehawk Indy 500 tires, sized 255/35 R18. This setup not only enhances the car's aesthetics but also significantly improves its grip and handling. Inside, the BRZ tS has an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, adding a touch of luxury and improved grip. This small but significant modification enhances the driving experience, providing better control and a more comfortable feel during spirited drives.
