Ty's BMW 325is

The journey of building a car can often be a shared passion that bridges different tastes and preferences. This is certainly true for Ty and his father, who embarked on a unique father-and-son project with their 1990 BMW 325is.

Ty and his father started their build with a classic 1990 BMW 325is. While Ty has always been drawn to European cars, his father had a preference for American muscle. They decided to merge their tastes, creating a unique blend of Euro style and American power.

The heart of this build is an LS6 engine swap from a Corvette, providing a robust American powerplant for the classic BMW. To further enhance performance, they added a 78mm turbo, giving the car impressive power and acceleration. The project also includes a 5-lug conversion to accommodate the wider stance and performance wheels.

For the exterior, Ty and his father chose an LTO wide body kit, which gives the car a more aggressive and modern look while accommodating the enhanced performance capabilities.
