Arbiol’s Civic Si Coupe

For many car enthusiasts, their first car holds a special place in their hearts. This is especially true for Arbiol and his 2014 Honda Civic Si Coupe.

Arbiol's journey with his Civic Si began in 2020 while he was still in high school. For the first two years, the car remained stock, serving as a reliable daily driver. However, Arbiol's passion for performance soon took over, and he began transforming his Civic into a true performance machine.

Over the winter of 2024, Arbiol undertook a full engine rebuild, including brand new gaskets and seals, along with several performance upgrades. The transmission was also rebuilt, featuring carbon synchros and brand new gear sets for improved shifting. The engine now boasts a ported RBC manifold with a sleek K-Tuned fuel rail, bigger injectors, and a J37 throttle body. The valve cover was paint-matched for added style. A competition stage 3 race clutch and an 11.5 lbs lightweight flywheel make driving the car a thrilling experience, especially on back roads.

Arbiol's 2014 Honda Civic Si Coupe features a comprehensive list of modifications. The car is tuned with a Hondata FlashPro, and it has an Acuity cold air intake, a Skunk2 catless downpipe, and an Invidia N1 cat-back exhaust. The braking system includes Duraplus slotted rotors and Stoptech race pads. For improved handling, the car has Whiteline sway bar front endlinks and a Progress 24mm sway bar with endlinks in the rear. It rides on Falken RT660 tires (235/40/17) mounted on Enkei RPF1 wheels (17x9+45). The suspension setup includes K-Tuned K1 coilovers and K-Tuned rear camber arms. The engine features a ported RBC manifold, a K-Tuned fuel rail with AN fittings and lines, a J37 throttle body, and RDX injectors. The transmission enhancements include a competition stage 3 clutch, an 11.5 lbs lightweight flywheel, a Hybrid Racing CMC, a Hybrid Racing slave, Hybrid Racing detent springs, and a Hybrid Racing selector spring. Additionally, it has Acuity shifter bushings, a PRL J37 adapter with IACV, and a PRL RBC adapter.

Arbiol's journey with his 2014 Honda Civic Si Coupe is far from over. His dedication to improving the car's performance and aesthetics ensures that more modifications and upgrades are on the horizon. Each step brings new excitement and satisfaction, further fueling his passion for the automotive world.
